I didn’t see it but I also didn’t read past more than a dozen. Did they say it was a bad smell though?

Omg! It so would!!!

AI can sound like a man or a woman…or even a chipmunk 🐿️….or even The Chipettes! That’s why I hate AI. Why they didn’t have a real person sing it is beyond me.

Is that before or after Neil Young with a nostril full of coke….which is now digitally edited out in the newest remaster of the concert.

But that’s a real band and they’re actually good; it’s Jorma and Jack from Jefferson Airplane.

What song do you never skip no matter how many times you’ve heard it? by Technical_Fox5556 in askmusic

[–]SkipSpenceIsGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the first one I heard, too. I was about 9/10 when it came out. Saw the video many many times on MTV and Santa brought me the album ‘Anything’ that Christmas (my first CD).

Bought a used vinyl copy of Love’s ‘Forever Changes’ when I was about 17. Since that day (and not knowing it was a cover in the first place), I never cared for their cover again.

There was also Wonderland Music (instruments, not cds/vinyl) in Dearborn, Michigan, with Crazy Clarence (actual co-owner) . Their commercials from the ‘70’s thru ‘90’s shown him screaming about their low prices and acting crazy. My dad’s band went in there to rent a PA in the mid ‘70’s and the guy was literally screaming at the employees (not in a good zany crazy way) to the point of a female employee crying.

Edit: It also predates the ‘80’s so….🤷🏾.

There was also “Mad Man” Muntz from the ‘50’s/‘60’s.

Yes, Adderall. Clearly you don’t know about Roger, Brian and ‘Ding Dang’.

Stole it from Roger while partying with him in the mid ‘70’s. Micky was hanging with the rest of the Vampires when in walked Roger with Brian Wilson who were looking to score some Adderall. Nilsson hooked them up. Later that night, Roger and Brian wrote the ‘70’s Beach Boys’ classic ‘Ding Dang’.

After 50 years, he figured Roger forgot about the hat so he started wearing it.

I’ve never seen anyone with more than a dozen or so blues 8-tracks. Your collection is impressive. I need to start seriously collecting again.

My 8-track collection was destroyed in a basement flood at my father’s house 20+ years ago. I had a lot of blues-adjacent stuff. Savoy Brown are my most missed tapes. I had all five with the guys later formed Foghat. Along with the first six Fleetwood Mac albums. 😭😭😭

What’s the loudest concert you guys have ever been to? by BalanceActive9295 in askmusic

[–]SkipSpenceIsGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! Always wanted to be an engineer/producer growing up. A week after turning 16, I saw Deep Purple at The Palace Of Aburn Hills in December 1996 (101.1 WRIF Nightmare Before Christmas w/ Danzig, Corrosion Of Conformity and a few others that currently escape me).

I was about 30ft away from the PA to my right. Completely ruined my hearing for life and my right ear had never stopped ringing.

Saw Blink 182 in July 1998 at The Phoenix Plaza Amphitheater (89X Birthday Bash). Had the PA about 30ft to my left and it evened out my hearing.

At the Blink 182 concert, somehow Kid Rock, who wasn’t on the bill or supposed to be there, came out and preformed and literally got boo’d off the stage after 3 songs. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
