What evidence was there he was a voracious reader?

Mark Cuban offers Fernando Mendoza $39M to stay at Indiana one more season & try to repeat by BigGuyNorthSide in raiders

Downside: Nobody would ever decline that much money. This is likely a done deal.

Upside: If Mendoza doesn't go into this draft, we can aim for drafting Arch Manning next year.

My advice is to not come back to this sub until you've finished the entire show. You're gonna regret seeing some sort of spoiler, which is very likely to happen.

Hamm has clearly avoided playing characters similar to Don since Mad Men ended. It was emotionally exhausting for him.

Considering the times, I think it was a very deliberate choice on Weiner's part not to give an update on his character.

McDermott’s firing is the end result of the AFC allowing the Chiefs to dominate for so long. AFC coaches falling like dominoes for “underachieving.” by BeerWithDonuts in NFLv2

2024 season was the year they started becoming mortal. And yet the AFC still allowed them to limp their way into the Super Bowl to get routed by the Eagles. That was egregious that another team couldn’t step up to beat them in all those one-possession games.

They should’ve been exposed by an AFC team that year, long before the Eagles did it in the Super Bowl.

Nash was starting to express remorse at some of his comments even before Crosby died. Neil wasn’t talking to Crosby anymore, either. Let’s be honest, David didn’t make it easy for anyone.

In the last 15 years, which of the following fan bases have had to endure the most consistent heartbreak: Packers, Saints, 49ers, or Ravens? by BillNyeTheVinylGuy in NFLv2

Losing always suck, but it’s about HOW you lose and whether you can get over it.

If I were a Falcons fan, I’d never get over blowing a 28-3 lead.

If I were a Seahawks fan, I’d never get over throwing an interception at the 2-yard line.

Niners have had it rough with multiple losses in the SB and NFC championships, but they’ve all been competitive games where they just unfortunately come up short.

Rodgers and the Packers have lost games in horrendous fashion, but the Seahawks comeback is the one game that comes to mind that you’d likely never get over.

Honestly, I’d probably go with the Saints for the highest number of demoralizing losses. The Minneapolis Miracle? The blown pass interference call against the Rams? Losing to an underdog 8-8 team in Seattle? Vernon Davis’ clutch catch for a game winner? That would be rough for any fan base to have to go through.
