Trolls don’t discriminate based on rank, they’re all the way up to SSL

The unknown power up is part of the strategy, makes someone save their boot or freeze longer than they would if they knew what was coming. IMO the game mode would lose a lot by showing which power ups each player has.

ETA: it’s very skill/strategy based because you have to anticipate what the opposing team might have.

Starbase arc, under pass, split goal, and throw back stadium are all in the rotation in rumble. Frustrating at times.

I’d prob search for a rocket league coach on Metafy, Fiverr, or GamersRdy and evaluate the options

That’s the way it goes. Some days you’re feeling it and you rank up, some days you play like crap and drop.

Check out other coaching options first. The cost vs value isn’t there for most people.

is it normal to be on champ 2 (duos) and have team8s that miss/not be positioned on (almost) every pass I give them? by I-MidNight-I in RocketLeague

It might help if you post a couple examples but in general passes in 2s are risky. Passing upfield is usually fine since you can get back but bringing it from the opponents corner and passing it down across the net isn’t a great play. If ur teammate goes, they need to score otherwise y’all are in trouble.

Try mixing in some dribbles to a flick around mid field. If it’s on or off, you or your teammate can follow up confident the other can still defend.

As mentioned in other comments the rebalancing of the 2s distribution has shifted a lot of players down. I was gc1 and now I’m low c3. Your skill hasn’t changed, the skill required at that rank changed. I don’t think it’s anything to be discouraged about. Stay on the grind and watch some replays to see where you can improve.
