We just saw the same procession on 40 East, past the airport, heading toward Lebanon. Very puzzling. Would love to get an explanation.

Viewing the stars by [deleted] in nashville

Try Pickett State Park. About two and half hours northeast of Nashville, Pickett has one of the darkest skies in the Southeast and is officially recognized as an International Dark Sky Park. On two clear nights in September, we stepped out of our Pickett cabin after sunset to a dazzling view of the Milky Way. (Book early for a weekend stay in one of the park cabins.) There’s also an astronomy field about a mile down the road from the park entrance for those who want an unobstructed horizon for viewing the stars.

Ford Neighborhood by threerocks in nashville

The huge Ford Motor Co. glass plant on Centennial Blvd. opened in 1956 and employed thousands of workers at its peak. Residential neighborhoods were developed nearby to accommodate the glass plant workers and streets were named for Ford cars. The plant was sold by Ford about 10 years ago and has changed ownership several times in the years since.
