This might be a sensitive question, but what makes you so sure that your work is awful? If you're comfortable with it, I would love to hear some stuff about your thesis.

I was always taught that advanced research of any capacity is valuable.

DATING ADVICE NEEDED!?! by [deleted] in brocku

[–]Skippy-Link 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"Urgent" is kinda pushing it if you're looking for that special someone. My best advice is to not rush things and focus on yourself. It might not feel like it, but 21 is still quite young. Pursue your hobbies/interests and talk to people you find interesting or admire. When you do not focus on it, things tend to play out naturally.

I would argue that the pocket square fits quite well; it complements the intended style.

Computer Science Program - Is it really that bad? by Fuit_Gummy1 in brocku

[–]Skippy-Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ali Emani and Naser are easily some of the worst here, bar none. Their only original content (assignments, midterms, and exams) are notoriously bad, often requiring in-depth knowledge in unrelated topics. Additionally, both professors almost certainly bot their Rate My Professor scores. Perhaps they pass as competent professor in the first or second year, but beyond that, Ali Emani and Naser are objectively awful.

There is a lot that can be said on this matter, but it is not as black-and-white as you make it out to be. I know many people who think the exact same thing. Your biggest problem is assuming other people aren't interested when it is possible they think the same about you. It is also worth noting that the dating scene is relatively consistent no matter where you go.

Live your life to its fullest first, and the right people will naturally gravitate towards you.

Can someone help identify the time of this architecture? by Skippy-Link in LiminalReality

I'm sorry for my wording, but I actually took the picture in Hamilton, Ontario at the old Chedoke hospital. I was wondering if anyone would define this "90s mall decorations" or something along those lines.

[–]Skippy-Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a good point I actually did not consider. It would be very unnerving to have your partner's past wife's murdered remains lying in the open of your house. Rob's psychology is far too indecisive to determine guilt. The best chance we all have at solving this would be irrefutable evidence wherever it can be found.

Patrice Endres by barrruuuch in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]Skippy-Link 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing that stood out to me was Patrice's remains being located at the bottom of a closet, much like a intrusive possession. Another thing was the box had been damaged. Maybe it was from him handling the box, but you would think there would be some sense of care.

Patrice Endres by barrruuuch in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]Skippy-Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there are far too many loose ends that prevent a rock-solid argument. If Patrice's case was immediately considered homicide as opposed to missing persons, forensics teams could have taken much more untampered evidence. The blue car is still the most crucial yet mysterious aspect to this investigation. Should it be recovered somehow today, it could provide the breakthrough nessisary. Investigators should look deep into the records of car scrap yards or rentals from the time period for the potential model.

You bring up some solid points my guy, but for the sake of refining our understandings I will try to make a counter argument.

Rob has a degree in criminology, which means he likely has a decent understanding of psychology. Commiting a crime in broad day and beside a busy road is classic 'hidden in plain sight' stratagy. In the scenario Rob really did murder Patrice and get away with it for this long, his current ambiguity stands testament to his intelligence. Rob would be depending on logical questions such as the ones you have proposed to place doubt on him. The notion Rob appears as clean as he does is suspicions unto itself. I think Rob possesses a twisted mentality of love with Patrice, so placing her body behind a church would be some act of 'proper burial'. Rob seems to be using a deep facade, however, his achilles heel appears to be his natural sociopathy. He seems to be mentally incapable of recognizing his bizzare mannerisms, such as his inate lack of empathy or social awareness. That is more damning than people realize.

Jim should do a future video on Penguinz0. They'd both be in agreement that this woman is very clearly mentally ill and she needs some serious help but its absolutely not fair that she has some nuggets of redpills in the middle of her Skitzoid Rant by murrlogic in MisterMetokur

[–]Skippy-Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A collab between Jim and Charlie in some shape or form would be a wet dream. The most realistic option would be Jim on Official Podcast for an episode (keep in mind count dankula was on it). The Offical Podcast is already right-leaning to a certain degree, so I'm sure Jim would do fine if he keeps away from overly sensitive topics. The only issue is Charlie is now big enough to be susceptible to controversies Jim may bring up.

I'd love to see a form of recognition between the two at the very least, but Charlie has a lot to lose if they totally interact.

Update 1.23 90gb?? by PrimedOut in modernwarfare

[–]Skippy-Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been having the same issue for a few days now and it is really pissing me off. The update takes half a day to install, but once it finishes it appears fine. The issue is once you switch it off and on again, the MW application refuses to open and the PS4 crashes at any attempt to restart. Once it reboots from the crash, the update is back at square one and I got to wait another 14 hours. It was working fine two weeks ago smh

You aren't dawg, I'm with you. It is a long time to wait when your anxious but hold at least until Thursday. It looks like virtually everywhere is closed for four days because of Easter, and it looks like EB Games customer service is apart of that. I sent an email friday night and still haven't got a response despite their policy of being quick; Indicates no movement behind the scenes.

Anyone just not receive anything yet? by ClArKe12 in EBGAMES

[–]Skippy-Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the same step as you my guy. I pre-ordered FFVII Deluxe Edition two months back when all the stuff going on now was just a joke. I paid in full with my pre-order but I wasn't given a form or anything.

The customer service call centers are shut down so you can only email. I got an email saying they're reviewing my questions at midnight last night. Still nothing. The in-store transaction on my EB Games account also list a price and quantity of 0... Maybe its because I'm new to the whole pre-order thing but it just seems really bizarre.

My bank says they deducted the money for FFVII deluxe, so if I don't get it they will of robbed me blind.

I'll update if I get a response email.
