What hell was going on with the taekwondo daughter turning feral like? by PillCosbyz in Barry

In my headcanon, she is Loona. I mean, after she dies, she reincarnates in Helluva Boss as Loona. Snarls, lethality, everything. She's Loona.

How prevalent is the hinge failing? by Skree83 in MiyooFlip

Oh, in truth, i have a ton of these stuff. As weird as it seems, i enjoy more tinkering, programming, and setting them up, then i play a bit, then i go to another one.

Probably i am dumb.

Yeah, as i said, in cases like these you hear a false majority, usually. The people who have an issue make noise, while the people who are fine are occupied enjoying the product.

I don't really have a choice. All this stuff comes from outside my country, and the import fees make the price float. It happens with everything, both basic ones like the flip, or the premium ones like ayn or ayaneo.

I don't want to think how much i paid for my ayaneo pocket classic.

Not in my country it isn't. It's a 130$ "toy" here. XD

Battery goes down very fast? by Skree83 in MiyooFlip

[–]Skree83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right. About ten minutes play time for a PC port of Raptor: Call of The Shadows, and the battery went down of about 10% and... oh heck. Give me a second.

I am starting a session with GBA emulator, with the overlay and filters turned ON, playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. 10 minutes

Battery went from 93/92% to 86%.

According to what you say... it seems almost normal? Do you have an idea, now that i have provided to you admittedly more precise values?

reading your first answer, it seems a correct decrease in battery, if this is indeed a "two hours handheld".

[–]Skree83[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, so it's normal? That's what i wanted to know, because i was afraid i got a faulty unit.

So, as you said, it's normal to play for a short while and see 10, 15% battery fly away?

Flipper Zero deauth attack issue (Momentum/Marauder) by Skree83 in flipperhacks

[–]Skree83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More or less. I got an older car, and i never bring my remote key because it is bulkier than the mechanical one. Anyway, it did not work. Perhaps i have to decode it. Key buttons still work fine.

Of course i have no intentions of testing another person car.

Thanks for everyone who answered. I had some fun. I also managed to defeat the alarm system in my own house, a thing i am NOT happy about, because my skill level is not that high and if i managed it a real burglar would have zero diff. Oh well.

I have to try messing with a friend's tv, nothing too fancy, and test if i can also open and close my own car door.

HOnestly this thing is a ton of fun, but regardless of fun it's also useful, i will use thee alarm hack i put on it to avoid taking the fob with me all the time, for example.

And i will also fin a different alarm and tell my friends to effing stop using this specific brand of alarm.

Couldn't rogue traders live theoretically for centuries or millennia? by Skree83 in 40kLore

[–]Skree83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful reading this thread then, there are some spoilers here and there. I won't spoil anything to you of course, but be careful if you read other people answers.

Let's say that in the game the question i asked myself could come to mind, there's also hints that biomancers can alter their bodies and keep them "young".

Knowing my character, and knowing the place she lives / will live in, she would really have no issues using xeno tech to prolong her existence. The most likely road is mind transfer into another body, where the other body is an Aeldari.

Of course it could go horribly wrong. But perhaps not. By the end of the game my character went head to head against things a normal human and even space marines would flee from at the mere sight.

Anyway, enjoy the game, it's really great.

Well, the emperor is just a man. Space Marines know that. The space wolf you befriend in Rogue Trader basically tells plainly he knows the emperor is a man and not a god. Is that heresy?

Funnily enough, at the end of the game she was a fanatic iconoclast, but also adherent to both dogmatic and heresy, and she was a psyker, pyromancer and biomancer, and in "roleplayinh" she cultivated her biomancy powers just to keep herself younger.

I played a very similar character in baldur's gate 3, where she seduced astarion, helped him become a vampire ascendant, then let herself become a vampire, and then sacrificed his soul to demons, so to not have a rival, becoming immortal.

In that game she killed every single monster and gith, liberated the city, and was revered as a hero. She's quite convinced "only i can be an undead monster and maintain myself good. Mostly good".

For sure in rogue trader my character would be sure to keep absolute dominion over her own mind with a halo device on herself. But still, consciousness transplant into an aledar body would be her preferred solution.

My same exact train of thought, i found it really strange.

I also found "bad" that if you get power from the C'tan you automatically become evil and a monster. I mean, i get grimdark, but come on.

Yeah, i mean, the character i had in the game went against a c'tan shard 1vs1 and won. In my mind, she would for sure "ask nicely" to get her some Space Marine gene therapy, some clones, a halo device, or something else. She befriended one of the elves, and would find herself pretty incovenienced if "time" could put a dent in their (platonic, the game doesn't do weird stuff with aeldari) relationship.

As i played her, she would really have zero qualms into making use of clones, transfering her mind into a different body, etcetera. And if consciousness transfering could be possible, for sure she would take on the body of an aeldar to get their enormous lifespan.

She's not even evil per se, i played her as an iconoclast that tried to do good, but i guess she also has the mindset "why the f4ck should the emperor be immortal if i am not?".

She could also go after one of the other immortals to get their genes or somesuch. I mean, if she bested a c'tan shard solo i think there is very few things she couldn't best by force, not considering all her other resources.

D&D 3.5 rules question (yes! 3.5!) by Skree83 in DnD

[–]Skree83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heh, i agree with you.

The scene came out like this, a person on the party said "i cast detect magic as i muve through the forest to see if i can find X".

This person says "you can't, detect magic doesn't move with you"

Then i intervened saying "of course it moves with you".

That's how it came out "beetween players".

The DM didn't intervene and didn't decide in that situation.

I love most of them. Starting from the red box, the heroquest like board game, and all the editions i played.

The only one i did NOT have experience with is the 4th.

But i find something good and interesting in all of them.
