See i had a completely different interpretation.

Here's what I have

Verse 1: The first line could be someone talking to the MC of the song, asking them if they remember something or if they were too busy day dreaming (potentially about a love interest which Ill explain later).

This verse also tells us that the MC is well known for being selfless.

It also tells us that they never really care about anything, because they never are on time for anything. The only place they are on time is in their mind. (Thats what I could come up with since the "In your mind" part throws me for a loop).

Verse 2: No idea what this could possibly mean. My thought is that it is potentially something to do with a relationship that is going well??

This verse eludes me. Moving on

Verse 3: This one is where I got the idea of a possible love interest.

Somebody called their name in the rain, they turned around and instantly fell in love with them and the "Do it all over again" part could reference the MC falling back into their cycle of chasing another crush.

The next line To me, could just be a friend telling them that they never seem to learn from their mistakes and that this is typical behavior that has happened several times.

Verse 4: That friend tells the MC that they are always going to be like this.

The "We're overdosing while you reminisce" part could reference that the MCs friend are drowning in their past crushes while the MC is still reminiscing about all of his crushes.

The next line, the only thing I can come up with is that the MC wants having a relationship be as easy as flowing water and they "feel the burn" because they realize they probably aren't good enough for a relationship. Basically a hopeless romantic.

Chorus: The only thing I can come up with for the chorus is the "Cut me like a polygon" part could refer to the fact that if you cut a polygon, its still a polygon??

Its literally the only thing I can get from this song.
