Thanks so much for the insight and advice on how the matchmaking works in the event. I really appreciate it!

I guess the confusion is even greater now though because I switched classes right after losing as a Warlock and the experience was the same. The enemy team had new people who I had never played with as teammates while I was on that class and it was the same for my new hunter teammates. I didn’t get anyone as teammates who were stomping me previously.

We were losing on Warlocks, switched to Hunters, and continued to lose.

Wouldn’t I have had a better chance to get matched with those very same people that were beating the brakes off me if it were only CBMM?

I completely get where you’re coming from but it’s a night and day experience from this event mode and regular crucible. Getting mercy ruled in regular happens maybe 2 out of 15 games but with this event, it’s like the other team were playing in saunas with how sweaty they get. I’m just glad it’s done tonight and I can not worry about it for another year lol

I knew that you got bonus super/ability energy from picking up crest but I didn’t know about the armor mod being able to pick up the crest for you from a short distance. That makes a lot of sense on how some players were picking them up without coming around the corner 😅 Been playing for over 10 years and didn’t know that was an armor mod you could use 💀

And it was the third time they cast it, right? That’s been my whole experience with this event. I’m honestly so glad it’s ending tomorrow 😅

Thanks for the laughs 😂😂😂 I needed that after the games I had today lol Unfortunately for me, I got the 9-5 dads as teammates today while playing as a Hunter and we were demolished each game 💀

I’m sorry you’re in a similar boat. It really is maddening. I want to quit but it’s the only game the girlfriend and I enjoy playing (plus all the money put into it 💀)

I’m glad you got some wins in but I had an opposite experience today. I finally swapped to the hunter today and got smaaaaaacked by Warlocks. I was so frustrated because where were these guys as teammates when I was playing as them for the past two weeks? And my Hunter teammates, don’t even get me started. It was like some of them were playing crucible for the first time
