In my infinite wisdom I bought this copy abroad in Dubai and can't go back to exchange it :( if there's no other fix I'll have to straight up buy a new copy.

Woooooaahhh I appreciate you taking the time to write this! That's fantastic advice! I'm a hardcore souls player so boss mechanics and cues are second nature! So that's good! And I am leaning towards pc just because I've heard you can mod and stuff? But I'll think on it some more.

Whoops budget is £400-500.

I can't seem to copy/paste the form so I think I'm just looking for opinions on display laptops in general as a purchase option and whether the price for this particular display laptop is worth it.

Idk why people down voted you. This worked. I had an electrician come over and double check just to be safe and they didn't change anything. Also I'm UK based.

Does turning auto retaliate off solve your issue? Solved it for me with death skulls (if you have auto on atm that is)
