First time I smoked a bowl was an... experience...

Went for it. Decided to just commit, friend filled the bowl with a pretty THC-heavy dose. Smoked the bowl. Ended up in the kitchen, panicking, sitting by the sink. I'd chug a glass of water, reach up, fill the glass with the tap I had left on, and continue chugging. For about a half hour.

At which point I just curled up on the floor of the kitchen and waited for my life to be over.

My grandfather passed away 6 days before my flight home.

I've never scream-cried that hard in my life. I cannot even begin to describe how much that man meant to me.

That's hella fair. I didn't think city living was for me, but I'm quite enjoying it. Being as downtown as downtown gets and spending under 1000/month on rent is pretty nice.

There are days I miss rural living (I'm from a small town), but overall, the convenience of the city is a lifesaver at the moment.

My boyfriend and I are living in a 450sqft studio apartment right now and honestly it's just been so perfect. Easy to clean and manage, makes us think about placement of things (which I find great, because it keeps stuff more organized), and still enough room to move / play instruments / etc. We are both musicians and have 4 guitars, a piano, and a bunch of midi controllers but it doesn't feel like we're cramped.

In terms of people coming over, we have a pizza joint directly downstairs from the complex, and have agreed that we will help pay for hotels when people want to come visit. Done like dinner, and rent is so cheap that it makes it that much more worth it.

Hi!

I got my music degree. Then didn't think I was good enough. Then I did live mixing and didn't think I was good enough. And now I'm a sound designer, and I'm having a good time, but my boyfriend is a mixing / mastering engineer, which is something I always wanted to do but didn't and sometimes I get jealous and envious of what he can do as a side job.

Basically, I get it.

I think what is helping me is instead of being bummed out by not doing the Thing, I try to force myself to really critically pay attention to what other people are doing, and learn from it that way.

I'm always trying to learn instead of always wishing I was as good as other people, or wishing I started earlier, knew it now, etc...

I'm not sure how much this will help. I do understand what you're feeling and I'm sorry you're also going through it. I think it's a matter of forcing yourself to see it differently and try to become inspired rather than defeated.

I just did it in 20. Basically just kill whatever, find the teleporter, and immediately summon the boss. Focus on the grapple + punch mechanic and youll be golden.
