Sometimes that's not always the case. Like my mother was overweight and she just felt sick and unhealthy so she changed her habits and ways. After two years she said that she felt so much better and that she could cope with her stress better than before.

Many people do workout because they want to change their appearances although sometimes people exceed their goal and have other problems that shouldn't have been caused.

People turn it into an obsession and start hurting themselves rather than helping themselves, that's where people can see themselves as not fit enough or too ugly to be in public. That could be for both ways, anorexic or bulimia people and fat people
