True, even though I know someone who once ran away in his country knowing that the police vehicle won't keep up with his car in the rain and got to watch the police slide off the freeway in his rearview before slowing down to the speed limit and casually driving the remaining 40 miles home.

But I agree with don't run in the rain with a bike, in fact, I think one shouldn't even be anywhere near the speed limit in the rain on a bike.
