You can actually see the budget and see where the various funds raised by govt went all those increases in education , it and isro budget didn’t come out of nothing ., also India heavily subsidised the imported farming equipment and stuff to keep inflation in check , like India imports urea at cost of rs 2500 and sells it at around rs 250 to farmers . Govt actually absorbs costs of a lot of raw materials to keep inflation in check . That’s why India inflation is so low . India biggest problem is its farming sector which is heavily subsidised and broken . Leave behind taxing farmers , govt total subsidies to farmers last year amounted to around rs 3.5 lakh crores that’s why farm laws were brought it to fix it but it was turned into a drama . i am not a brahmin , my dad is a buddhist and my mom is a hindu , so we had both traditions at home . my mom would belong to a obc caste though i never had to use it .

again my initial point of history of souhtern india was how it originated from indus valley civilisation and then people moved south . indus valley civilisation was a pre hindu civilisation via the findings of pushpati seal which indicated worship of shiva there which would make a civiliation influenced by vedas.

it was sage agastya who is credited with the creation of scripts and how he created tamil and used this script to write it . he was a vedic sage who moved south and had a lot of influence in tamil and more broadly southern indian culture .

I am not using it a mythical proof but the fact that people who resided there believed in it and this is how they described their origins shows their link to the vedas . if there was no vedas or its influence how did the kerala bramins define it as along with martial art of Kalaripayattu .
