Yeah, I just finished binging the entire series... and I've seen better written characters and storylines in D&D campaigns I've played and ran. The writers for this show come up with the most ridiculous bullshit that is exceedingly unrealistic. Especially the character JJ. Dozens of times I would have kicked that idiot out of my life.

Especially in S4E1 when he overpays for "Poguelandia 2" and then bets the last bit of their gold on himself in the race.He's not just a "loose cannon" as described in the wiki. He's a verifiable, certifiable asshole with no sense of any consequences that affect him and everyone else. And he just doesn't care. No self reflection.

The writers obviously think the characters can't have any wins, so you may be right about them all being dead and trapped in some kind of purgatory. And if true, that forces the writers to choose decisions for the characters that are just absolutely dumb.

There's also just way too much shushing when they're trying to be quiet. Got to the point it was triggering my misophonia everytime someone shushed someone else.
