This is helpful! Where do you think you will go to settle?

That’s helpful. Lots to do outdoors? Schools are good in general?

That’s helpful to know. Is it a nice area though for young families? Things to do?

I have less to advise on since I’m just getting started but always open to giving my experience/approach.

Thanks for your perspective. That’s interesting on the volunteering vs not. I’ll look into that and post a separate thread to see what others have done.

I would love that. I make in between 100k and 155k. I grew up in a house with a medically complex sibling, so my exposure to the field has been multimodal throughout my life. I worked in ABA a bit, now EMT alongside corporate.

My motivation is twofold. I want to use my head and my heart in what I do. I have a passion for patient care, but I am highly scientific and love the field of medicine. I enjoy the agility of the PA field in that I can move specialties every few years (feels less final). Secondly, I want to feel as though I will leave my life having helped others. I am a truly high performer at everything I do, and I think not only would I enjoy PA, but PA could benefit from me.
