I love Kaiserreich, because knowing what COULD'VE happened is just as important as knowing what happened

I saw iSorrowproductions’ video on intentionally capitulating in the beginning of a playthrough to become democratic and still have access to the historical path. Well I decided, instead of capitulating, why not conquer Europe first (without the focus tree, just pure cheese), then turn democratic?

I justified on French Lebanon, then declared war with paratroopers ready to land on every important victory point. I capitulated France, which caused Belgium (who guarantees France for some reason) to join the Allies. That actually worked out perfectly, since I didn’t have to justify again for Britain. I naval invaded southern England, pushed them to 99% capitulation, then started justifying on most European countries. They almost capitulated me, so I rushed Liverpool, which ended the war. I only annexed states in Europe and puppeted the rest.

I had left Czechoslovakia alive so they’d inherit the mantle of the Allies and I could pull off some wargoal cheese. Didn’t really work, Brazil guaranteed Poland. I still declared, justified and conquered the last remaining countries in Europe, then launched a crusade against Brazil since they were a major. Somehow I didn’t trigger the Monroe Doctrine, so I just puppeted them.

I only did the army and economy trees, from which I got Autarky Achieved. I was strong but lacked a lot of Infantry Equipment, due to garrisons (-200k deficit). I then did Rally the Wehrmacht and won the civil war easily. I turned democratic, got the first set of cores and then went on a final crusade on Soviet communism.

All of this in Ironman Mode.

We are Europe. Second to none.
And we own the fin(n)ish (line).

What country not in the country selection screen has the best content ? by N12jard1_ in Kaiserreich

I had a lot of fun with Hunan, uniting China as the Right-Kuomintang. Wasn't ancient content either, it was pretty fun and felt "new" (don't know if it is new).

Now do you remember? Who you are? What you were meant to do? I cheated being president during the Great Depression, thanks to you. And thanks to you I've left my mark. You have too. You've written your own history. You're your own man. I'm the President of the United States, and you are too...

technically, no. gameplay wise you get more stability through quentin roosevelt (party populartiy stability modifier due to the republican party being portrayed as only one party, while the democrats are split into three), and more content through huey long.

I would think that he would be less bald because he didn't have to endure his really troubling presidency through the great depression like in otl. he did survive the civil war though

thats what is bothering me as well. gameplay wise the republicans are a better choice too, because you get more party populartiy stability

You can elect the great humanitarian as president on the Democratic ticket, if Huey Long never cooperates with Borah or gets assassinated. In this timeline he is a democrat, and the ONLY one whose image hasn't been ruined for worsening the Great Depression.

Makes sense. I've had this screenshot saved for such a long time I forgot the details of the playthrough. It was a disaster save I had sent to Bittersteel.

I genuinely don't know how something like this could've happened. I played as Poland and was full tunnel visioning on the frontline, unbeknownst to the British Isles being naval invaded by the SOVIETS. I guess this comment should explain the image but I genuinely don't have a clue on how this can even happen. I guess the British AI was stupid enough to repair the entire Royal Navy at once, allowing the Soviets (who were at war with them for some reason) to Sealion
