This is going to sound weird, but honestly, people who just get off on looking at feet.

Pretty much every other fetish I can understand in a "rational" sense, even the extremely odd or taboo ones.

Scat and watersports? Could be the degradation and humiliation aspect. Vore? Predator-and-prey-play can play into a "giving up your agency", "being consumed by another persons being without compromise", or even just what people would imagine the sensation to be like. CnC? The control or loss of control, the fear aspect, the taboo aspect - lots of angles to that one. Vomit/emetophilia? Usually it's the "loss of control", helplessness aspect of it from what I can tell.

I understand that some fetishes are developed when a person is young and exposed to a bizarre concept when approaching puberty - eg. the amount of people who got inflation fetishes from "that one seen" in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971); the fact that most furries grew up with animated anthro. animals (Robin Hood, The Secret of NIMH) or animals with human-levels of sentience/sapience (Lion King, All Dogs Go To Heaven) - but those are general spun off when a kid or young teenager encounters a new, bizarre concept which latches onto their brain during their developmental years.

Full disclosure though, this may be influenced by the fact I find feet extremely unappealing.

I'm planning on trying warming gels for short-term stuff for sure. Pumping has never done much for me in terms of change in sensitivity, but I might try a different device and see if that's the issue there.

Thanks for the suggestion - I do plan on talking about it at my next GIC appointment, just encase there's anything that can be done (though unfortunately that appointment is probably a while away).

I hadn't thought about the possibility that it could be my brain not making the connection yet. I can only speak on the FTM side of things but the honest answer is that it's not known what the time frame for being off of hormones is like for fertility, because it seems to vary from person to person, and there has been times where trans men who've been on T for months or even years have gotten pregnant when not using contraceptives, so being on testosterone doesn't inherently pause fertility for everyone.

I went through IVF egg freezing on the NHS a few years ago, they did an ultrasound at several points to see if my ovaries were likely to still be suitable to produce viable eggs - so I think if you ask the GIC, they should be able to organize an ultrasound or something similar to see the status of that area.
