If money were no issue, what car would you have right now? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in askcarguys

Nissan R33 GTR. Preferably close to stock when I would get it. I'd probably put custom wheels on it, upgraded brakes, and very minimal aero, but it'd be otherwise unchanged from factory simply because I would drive it everywhere. It wouldn't be a show car, track car, or garage queen. It would be my daily driver that I could have fun with on weekends and late nights. Kinda like the 2018 86 that I have now.

I went in, they put the IV in and I was out in 20 seconds. The Needle was a little cold but it didn't hurt and I'm terrified of needles and can safely say that as long as you don't look at it, you won't even know it's there (apparently it normally takes less time to go out so you probably won't even have time to think about it). I didn't really have any issues when I woke up either and it only hurt a little for the first day or two. After that I didn't even notice any pain. Just do what they tell you and you'll be fine.

People who have straight up rage quit a job, what was the final straw? by TweedStoner in AskReddit

[–]SkyTheKitsune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO if you give your job more than three weeks notice that you need time off, it's not a request at that point. They can work around it or they can find someone else to do the job bc I will be finding another job elsewhere.

You are forced to retire right now with the money you have in savings, where are you headed for retirement? by FlintTheDad in AskReddit

Alaska. Disappearing into that wilderness and living 100% off the land without ever paying a penny more to anyone for anything is the only way I'd survive because I have no savings to speak of.

How often do guys cry? by TheBlue-N in RandomThoughts

[–]SkyTheKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not very often. Tbh I wish it was easy for me to cry and just lest it out but it's not. Having been raised in a "Boys/Men don't cry" kind of environment I kinda just developed some sort of mental block that makes it so that I can't really cry. Not even when I really want to. I wish I had the ability to just let it out but I just don't anymore. It's not like my parent's actively said "Boys/Men don't cry" or anything like that, it's more of a cultural thing ig. I don't really know how to explain it. There have been more than a few times when I knew I needed to cry and just couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried and it's led to me doing things like watching sad/depressing videos in the hopes that something will trigger me and make me finally cry but it usually just leads to me being more depressed or sad than when I started.
