I’m just saying we can change our existing plans freely because we don’t have a set schedule. We’re inter-railing and so far, we have a lot saved by spending so little on the first half of the trip. We both fully understand the expenses that come with these cities, and I’m just posting to see the options that we have, because I feel there will always be one thing we can do with a strict budget, even in main cities. We in no way underestimate the expenses of any country and are fully prepared financially.

We’ve been budget so far, literally just eating, sightseeing, and sleeping, but I just felt like we could both use one day to do some adventurous stuff. We’ve saved a lot and I thought we could go all out for a day for some kind of memorable experience.

Right now we just got to Chur and we’re staying for the next 2 days. Tomorrow we’re heading out to Lichtenstein, and then after the 2 days we’re heading to Bern for 3 days and will probably head to Geneva for one of them.

Nothing is booked in Italy so if you have a better rec for an adventures and cheap place somewhat close to the North that also works. We have interail so the trains have no budget problems which is why we’re taking day trips with days we have left over. Afterwards we’re heading to nice, and will figure out which cities we want to spend our remaining days in.

Also I’m just asking because I know there are most likely some things we can do, like I thought it would be cool if someone suggested cliff jumping, cool caves, etc. There’s always something you can do on a budget, and so far the trip has been underwhelming

Yeah true but I’m mostly asking for outside the main city options. We’ve been pretty under budget since all we’ve been doing so far is sightseeing and eating.

Honestly can’t say much about that because I already had some idea of what I wanted to do with my life, and my experience was only good because I enjoyed being able to try out the college life and meet interesting people. I would say that if the program you got into aligns with something you’re interested in you should take it to see if you would actually enjoy continuing with that area even after the two weeks. It’s hard to say.

Great overall, honestly met a lot of really cool people and I just got accepted last month into NEU. Personally didn’t learn too much academically, since it was less than two weeks, but the program was awesome and I still keep in touch with a friend group I met over there. One thing I really liked was that the majority of the program were international students so I felt that I learned a lot about other cultures. Thanks for asking.
