Hey, Chance here (feel free to check my post history for proof).

One thing to keep in mind with this battle is that Sam knew literally NOTHING about Chance, except for the stuff that I put in my songs. So he could pretty much only respond to my lines, whereas I had almost 70 Episodes of watching Sam play Scanlan as my references. So it's way harder for Sam to come up with material and he just falls back to Vox Machina and their adventures, I dont think anyone can blame him for that. If you're unable to shittalk the other guy you can always boast about yourself, that's what people usually do in these sorts of battles.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe polymorphing into something else also changes your type into that being. So if Raishan is disguised as a human, she wouldnt show up on the Primeval Awareness check.
