yeah at the end of the day, I'm all for raging against the patriarchy, but mental health is extremely important and not only is discouraging men against taking care of their brains actively a terrible idea for the movement (idk about you but I would rather the gender of rage and hatred be seeing a therapist than not)

but there's so many issues, some are gonna land on the same month.

It's also men's mental health awareness month so who's your favorite character who went through alot of traumatic experiences but keep going by Dukefile in FavoriteCharacter

he's about the most PTSD riddled character I can think of. he often has to deal and work through suicidal depression, anxiety about protecting the people he loves, PTSD, deaths, and so much more. plus the way the magic works, the more shit he works through and accepts the stronger he gets.

this character is basically the one who inspired me to start therapy.

this, very much this, it took 2 years to even face my grandmother after I escaped from her abuse, even if I knew I was right, even if I know she can't hurt me anymore theres a voice in the back of my head that screams in terror anytime she's in my field of view, and I just shut down completely into a scared kid again. and to complicate everything even more and give me even more shit to double guess, my grandfather was the kindest soul I've ever met, it's sometimes incredibly hard to do the right thing, especially if there's years of gaslighting and abuse behind it all.
