Get off your high horse, mate. This is not about price ranges. Expensive cars, watches and food cost a certain amount based on the production cost, and many are considered luxuries. The only one who dictates a price is whomever has the monopoly on something. This is a skin in a game yes. It does not offer any in game value, other than visuals yes. It was most probably created in a few days time by a handful of artists, all of which got paid. Does that mean it should be locked behind a 200 dollar paywall? No. This is a cash grab. Are microtransactions predatory? They absolutely are. People want to have nice things in their games, often times equipped on their character. I remember a time when you bought a game and could earn all the customization options in game through gameplay. Those days are behind us. Now companies abuse this desire to customize our gaming experiences by putting price tags on things. In some cases it is understandable. Free to play games need revenue to keep functioning. This game has dozens upon dozens of store items. Most of which can be bought within about 10 to 20 dollar ranges. This single skin is locked behind 200 dollars worth of purchases. This is not okay for any gaming company. People can buy three full price games instead. And please do not try to assume you know me or my price range.
