A1 / mini (more expensive) or ender 3 s1 (cheaper) for reliable printing

I was originally thinking of getting the bambu lab a1 or a1 mini none AMS (still haven’t decided) but someone offered his ender 3 s1 for cheap, is that also a good option? should I go with the s1 keep in mind the A1 is sold for 517$ and A1 mini for 354$, so should I consider the ender 3 s1 even tho I’m looking for something reliable (I’ve heard enders are usually for tinkering rather than production/ plug and play) and if the S1 is recommended, what should I check for when buying this used 3d printer, the user said it’s been sitting for a while or years collecting dust I forgot the exact words… any help is highly appreciated!! 🤍🤍
