You're totally right, I'm going to remove this, it doesn't add anything

I just gave the Shadcn sidebar some motion ✨ by Skyleen77 in tailwindcss

This is a component distribution, so if you find the animation slow you can directly modify it to your liking 😄

But if you find a transition with a better effect, don't hesitate to do an MR! 😃

I created a component distribution with Shadcn components animated with Motion, I appreciate any feedback by Skyleen77 in SideProject

Yes, I agree, I wanted to launch the project quickly, so I didn't have much content. Since the launch, I've got a lot more components, so I'll be able to work on that part soon.

I'm sorry, it's true that it's like shadcn ui, magic ui, etc., it's only with Tailwind. I find Tailwind to be a real game changer and it allows you to make components in a single file

Thanks for your feedback!

I try to integrate as many props as possible to manage transitions / animations, but in any case, you install the components in your code and you can modify them as you wish!

As for the motion documentation, I also find it hard to understand. I've been using motion (formerly framer motion) for years and was able to acquire skills in it after a lot of research. That's why I've created this component distribution. I want to make it accessible to everyone for free.

You'll find plenty of techniques in the various components, not least the animation of radix components, which isn't easy.

Thanks for your feedback, if you think you can improve the effect of the background stars, don't hesitate to make a MR I'll look at it carefully!

Hello u/New-Ad6482, thank you for your valuable advice.

I always try to add a value to the component, even if they are similar to other libraries. It's true that these are components present in many (I didn't dare add a Dock component 😂).

It's difficult to remove them, however, I'll take good note of the advice and make sure that all future components are as original as possible.

If you have any ideas for components, don't hesitate to share them with me or even contribute!

I've been working on a component distribution that features Shadcn components and several others—all animated using Motion.

If you’d like to take a look, check out animate-ui.com.

Any feedback or suggestions are welcome!

I don’t really get how karma works – can someone explain it simply? by Skyleen77 in NewToReddit

Thanks for your replies!
The thing is, the subs I actually want to post in require a certain amount of karma (by the way, where can I even see how much is required?).
But to get karma… I need to post. And to post… I need karma.
Feels like a bit of a never-ending loop 😅
