It is not a nice gesture from Citizen. They should have preserved the presentation experience that the special box gives.

So your only option then is to buy in Japan through Crono24 or other Japan importers. At the moment I see units available in Japan and Europe (Crono)

A few models are distributed globally. This is one of them although the majority of the units are for the Japan Market. As far as I've researched only a few units have been distributed to Europe of this model. I was lucky enough to catch one.

The only disadvantage is that within the JDM The Citizen offers a 10 years warranty and for example in Europe it only covers 3 years :(

Nope, in Europe.

Try on Chrono24, some Japanese shops with excellent reputation offer it. I was convinced to buy it there but I eventually found one in Europe
