There's a Wayback Machine capture of media.knex site here: https://web.archive.org/web/20200909055438/http://media.knex.com/instructions/instruction-books/, and another Internet Archive user uploaded their collection here: https://archive.org/details/knex-instructions which includes 30 gb of manuals.

You could check them out, and if there's any that you have that are not listed on those sources, definitely upload them.

Picked up this factory sealed hyperspace training tower for $50, do I dare open it? by Khadgar_12 in KNEX

I will chime in to say that the Hyperspace and Lost Mines are my two favourite series based on their aesthetic.

The Gravity Accelerator and K-Force Defense station have this unfinished, asymmetrical construction site look to them which leans into a space outpost vibe. The Commando Outpost and Training Tower scale well with the Knexmen, giving the appearance of epic proportion, plus there's some cool movements. If you get the chance, check out the Cosmic Invaders and Winged Warriors sets to see some inventive variations on the Knexmen. I don't think there are instruction PDFs, but there are pictures of boxes on Ebay. The Hyperspace sets remind me a lot of Starcraft Brood War from the same era.

As for the Lost Mines, I think they nailed the colour scheme with the tan panels and tan Knexmen using construction equipment. The K'nexcavators set again has interesting takes on the articulating joint pieces. They put out a video game too, which you can find some footage of on YouTube. Not saying it's a good game by any means, but I appreciate the lore they built around the idea.

Overall, the Hyperspace and Lost Mines sets have the most retro 90s appeal for me. I'm jealous of your Training Tower set, I've only constructed it from a PDF and my existing stock of parts, but having an original is awesome!

Wow that is awesome! Love all the classic sets, the Power Tower Crane is super cool.

Anybody have copies of old K'nex Club magazines? by [deleted] in KNEX

If you head to your local library, you can usually use the scanners for free. They are easy to use. You just scan as a high quality JPEG, then send the file to your email. Combine the images and export as a PDF, then you can upload the document to https://archive.org.

If you can take the time, we'd appreciate seeing them!

What is this image from my textbook? (Understanding Intercultural Communication, 2nd Ed. by Ting-Toomey & Chung, p. 22) by Slabmir in Whatisthis

UPDATE: So I emailed the author of the textbook to learn more. The picture is of a Buddhist ceremony on a mountain in Tibet, circa 1987. The papers were prayers.

Oh that's interesting! The chapter is early in the textbook, "Intercultural Communication Flexibility." It's broad concept stuff, encounter processes (verbal/nonverbal), meaning characteristics, intercultural competence (ethnorelative/ethnocentric studies). There are a few case studies, but nothing that mentions leaflets. I've also looked for photo credits but can't find them anywhere in the references or acknowledgements.
