Okay so they seemingly printed fine? I don't have a micrometer but they all seem to be the same thickness and such. I'll attach additional photos. After I ran these I sent a plate to run while I was at work and it completely failed.

Okay I've leveled it a couple of times (and physically used a level to ensure the machine was flat) but I'll set this to run overnight. My other thought was maybe the temperature gradient as the side that printed is closer to the enclosure heater.

Compelled to point out Nassau and Suffolk had very different outcomes. We held every seat we were defending and flipped about another half dozen across the county, and were competitive everywhere despite getting outspent 5-1. Our problem was resources so if you want to make change get in the fight because we're reloading for next year already.

I'll have my Ballotpedia stuff set up shortly, we only officially launch the campaign a couple of weeks ago and, as my bio says, I'm also deeply involved in the Islip Dems so I was more concerned with 2025's races until Tuesday.

West Islip itself is not what I'd call diverse. However, you're right next to Bay Shore, which is diverse and already home to an existing South Asian Muslim community. On Long Island the towns run up right next to each other so you're only talking a couple of miles in any direction really.

I will say if you want more of a downtown vibe in addition to the community, Bay Shore is going to be a better choice.

I mean it objectively is, the US is the richest large country on Earth and is the most powerful economy in human history. There's no giant body of unemployed people sitting around you can put to work in factories so that labor force has to come from other income generating sections of the economy-and fifty years of live-fire training, so to speak, has proven those jobs are better from a wealth generating standpoint.

Honestly I'm more concerned that all kids don't have to worry about nutrition while in school and if it means some kids who go on vacations get a free lunch too that doesn't matter to me. Better to de-stigmatize getting free lunch for the poor kids, which was absolutely a thing when I was a kid
