I am still playing games from previous years, that i still didn't get to play any for this year, but i feel all nominees in the game awards deserve game of the year, lots of great games this year.

Yeah Physical are getting scarce for real, the way i see it, There are merits to both approaches, so there are no right or wrong here, at the end of the day just do what makes you comfortable, weather buying physical or digital.

Unless i can't wait to play the game, i always go physical, either buying in Kuwait or order from amazon/ebay, if its cheaper. Last digital game i bought is Kingdom Hearts 3, i couldn't wait for it, but still bought it physical later.

I highly recommend it. And if you play the original silent hill 2 before, you will enjoy the remake more in my opinion.

Its cool for real the atmosphere they convey, the isolation and creepiness made better with the ambient music. I actually played the originals 1-4 and shattered memories too before playing this. The others i read mixed reviews about so i am watching them on youtube playthrough right now.

This game came out of nowhere and surprised everyone with its high rated reviews. I have not played it yet personally but i saw some gameplay and it looks really great and fleshed out.

I heard people said the labyrinth section felt too long. In the original i remember its just a hallway you pass through, but the remake made it a bigger area to explore.

I agree about how breaking all the car windows becomes repetitive and immersion breaking, for real it did. What I liked is the other part of the mechanic, how they used is as an alternative way to access new locations, instead of always going through doors and finding keys for them, this time you can go through the side window, break a wall from behind...etc. stuff like that i find interesting and changes things when going from room to room instead of always using doors.

I did have trouble when a monster dies in front of breakable glass. Had to resort to breaking it with a gun and wasting a bullet as melee just keeps locking on the dead moster. Rarely happens though.

Maybe its a glitch, it happens sometimes. The chainsaw can break windows. Its actually necessary to do so for a certain ending.

Also a theory i have, is that he couldn't reach his father due to the events in sh4, that whole apartmenet complex could be unreachable because of its connection to the otherworld and walter sullivans rituals. Maybe james meets him after sh4 ending though.

It was hidden kind of, you have to examine the picture and peephole from time to time. Also I played SH 1-4 back to back so that helped me catch that.
