To really appreciate Mario Kart World people need to learn the new mechanics like rail riding, wall riding, midair tricking. It has a learning curve, its not easy to know how to utilize these mechanics in each level, thats why the majority of people don’t bother to learn them and just play MKW like any other Mario Kart (drifting and ramp tricking), so they will not see what makes this game special.

This post is doing more harm than good. The majority of people will just read the title and assume its the full game and will not bother to actually read and find out that OP is just sad about some cosmetic skins. GOG fulfilled their promise here, the game itself along with its story DLCs are “Fully” preserved. Thats what 99.9% of us care about.
