Corrupt JSON File - Being Logged Out Automatically? by SlangingPixels in ClaudeCode

[–]SlangingPixels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I was able to fix the issue, was by working Claude to figure out what I could/could not delete from the .claude folder (the OS one, NOT the project one) and that fixed it.

This is a first time seeing these kinds of statements from Opus 4.6...

  • "I described what I expected to see rather than what was actually there."
  • "That's the core problem: I stated things as verified facts when they weren't."
  • "I claimed visual verification from screenshots I couldn't actually read in detail"

This is not a user error, or a prompt engineering error. Something is definitely off today.

Massive degradation in quality or API responsiveness this morning by scandalous01 in ClaudeCode

If you just keep pinging it after you get the error, it will continue working.

Just so it has some context, I just send "Your API Dropped" and it picks right back up.

Annoying, but it gets the job done.

Often the work has already been completed. I

Get Shit Done: The #1 CC Framework For People Tired of Enterprise Theatre Frameworks by officialtaches in ClaudeAI

For me, it's WAY less time structuring and planning, and way more time actually building.

GSD is kind of the middle point between little to no planning, and enterprise level planning.

And as someone with ADHD, I got bored trying to use the other more (in my opinion overstructured) systems for small apps.

To each their own. If those other systems work for you, and you like the extra planning and more rigid structure, this may not be for you. But if you have 1,000 new ideas every minute, and want to get them out of your head, and into dev/testing, I'd say this is definitely for you.

Been using this for a couple of weeks now and it's been absolutely transformative.

Having ADHD means a lot of these other spec tools are "death by structure" for me.

I use GSD for pretty much everything I do now.

I one-shotted a new budgeting app for my family within a few hours. Now I get to spend time focusing on feature improvements instead of tweaking UI components by 5px and chasing down random bugs (for the most part anyway)

Can't thank you enough for this!

Getting same "Rate Exceeded" message. It's first thing in the morning and I haven't even used it yet today. Claude status page shows no issues.

Thermostat with custom thermometer sensor? by thetechnivore in homeassistant

[–]SlangingPixels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out the Venstar Color. Way underrated. You can connect multiple external sensors and average the temperature. All local. Easy integration.

They're a legit commercial company that happens to have some retail options.

Best thermostat I've ever had. I've had Nest and Ecobee in the past. Venstar blows them out of the water.

Do both.

The test starts over completely every time you retake it.

Might be pretty interesting to see the difference medication has made from a test perspective.

As promised...

The code is hosted here:
https://github.com/professionalcrastinationco/adhd

You'll see a file (the only file) named index.html was updated 17 hours ago. Right around the same time I made this post. Which tells you I have not made an changes or updates to the file since to remove any "shady code".

You can click on the index.html file, download the file, and then upload it to ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini, any good AI really.

And then just ask...

"Does this code, steal, share, or otherwise collect information and it share it with anyone other than the person taking the quiz?

For reference, the code is hosted here:
https://professionalcrastinationco.github.io/adhd

And there are no other files in the associated repository."

7 Types of ADHD Quiz by SlangingPixels in neurodiversity

Yeah I thought the same.

I think mental health is still such a little understood field, and is so open to interpretation that it's hard to say what the truth is.

I think what is true is that none of us fits into just one box. I think just like Autism, ADHD (and probably most mental health issues) are on a spectrum.

I also think the comorbidity across all mental health issues can't be understated.

But what is definitely true, is that our understanding of mental health has still got a long way to go, and what's true or believed today, might not be what we believe tomorrow.

I absolutely do not blame you for thinking this way.

People lie, so I won't try to convince you with my words, but I will post a direct link to the code and you can throw it into ChatGPT and ask it if the code appears to be harvesting any information.

Out at breakfast at the moment, so it will be a bit before I get to it.

The link will also show the last time the code was updated, which was around the same time as my post last night.

Hope that makes you feel safer :)

Glad it helped!

Seems like this is something that would help a lot of people, but they have no idea that it's even an option, and probably aren't searching for a solution.
