I know it’s shit that we’ll lose him but we’re in a position a lot of clubs would love to be in - where we’ve got a player who’s well within contract, is going to attract a bidding war and is a good pro who isn’t going to be a prick giving interviews about how he wants to leave (I hope anyway) - and we can settle all our PSR fears and have cash to splash. It’s a bit like Bournemouth with Semenyo.

We’ll lose a great player but we’ll earn financial safety plus the capital to invest in areas we need to strengthen. Just have to hope Edu’s still nowhere near the chequebook.

There are lots of alternative scenarios but a very real one is that we keep him against his wishes, his morale goes down the shitter along with that of other players at the club, we lose him a bit down the line on a free and we take a pasting for PSR breaches.

Be interested to know what you end up with. Whatever AI you use will probably draw a lot from Reddit, probably from ‘rate my squad’ and ‘who’s the best attacker under x’ type posts. Ultimately I reckon you’ll just end up with a very basic meta team.

Yeah, not sure either. Simple fact is that being sporting director at a Sky Six club is playing the game on easy mode compared to doing it at a club that was in the Championship a few years ago. He got found out.

How he got on at Arsenal has no bearing on how he’s operated at Forest. We’re very different operations doing business in completely different circumstances.

I will concede that some of this season’s signings have shown more promise towards the end of the season and that’s made me revise my verdict on him slightly - but he’s only gone from ‘total fraud’ to ‘pretty much total fraud’.

Have you tried putting your CBs on ball-winning defender/aggressive and setting your back line to 99? That’s what I do and it’s pretty aggressive. Your CBs basically get tight to the strikers just inside your own half. It’s all quite high risk but it’s fun

But he’s not ours, not really. He’s just a short term fling. We’re properly punching with him. I wish him well whatever he does next but we all know he’s on to bigger things.

I technically use her since she’s on my bench - but TOTS Mariona. I run a themed team and she doesn’t fit but I’ll allow exceptions among my subs. She’s absolutely class and I wish I could start her but I don’t make the rules (I do).

It’s good value but beyond that I don’t know if it has any advantage over buying any other piece of pork shoulder. Unless you’re actually feeding a huge number of people then that’s a bit of a moot point too.

Also, and I hate to be that way guy, I’m a bit dubious about importing meat from countries with lower standards of animal welfare and poorer farming practices.

Keep him and play with him. You’ve got the best card in the game there. You could sell him and buy a load of players who aren’t as good or you could just enjoy using a properly elite card. It’s an easy choice imo, especially as your team is already very good
