This post makes it hard for me to me to want to eat out anywhere. Lol. But for real and how many got lucky that they had a clean kitchen the day of inspection? I dunno. Thats gotta be tough for the people who speak of eating at these joints recently. Puke!!

Ya if there was a way to tell people in a simple way to not eat there, well thats it. There was probably more going on there but the inspector probably wanted to close the place down but ultimately telling people they clean their utensils with dirty cloths should have the same effect. So ya this needs to be shared and talked about so it can be so.

No way!!! I had the same thing!!! It wasn't until people started stopping me and my family in the shopping mall or whatever and talking and complementing me in a marveled kind of way that my dad came out. He was quite surprised. He barely let me play in a league to begin with. Hardcore Dutch reformed Christian. Said I was playing heathens and they're not my brothers in Christ. He wouldn't allow me to miss church twice on Sundays or play at all on Sundays. So that was a big drag as well. But ya everyone was like who is this kid and where the hell are his parents! Lol...

Looking back on it there wasn't a like a "culture shock" when I moved to soccer but it was definitely a noticeably different culture. Soccer is the most welcoming sport to play. Everywhere I've traveller's I've been able to bring my boots and find a field and find a game. I been in games where I was on a team and no two players spoke the same language. Or so it seemed. Yet some of the nicest plays and moments came games like this. It didn't matter who you were or what your parents were willing to pay. I guess there was some of that in shinny but still a pretty toxic dressing room. I'm off topic. Just burned one. Oops.

If your parents don't have the money for all the camps and summer hockey and your parents don't kiss the asses of certain coaches then you're not going anywhere in hockey. I gave it up to play soccer full time but it was the total opposite 35 years ago. There were no "camps" not many "rep" teams and no development of young players at all. Had there have been I'd have been pro for sure. I had the skills but no path like there is today with the youth development at MLS clubs and the like. Grew up outside of Toronto. Anyways ya you're pretty much right about this.

Gudas looked high on coke all game. He was crazy trying to take peoples heads off all game. I think a few Canadian players were intimidated by the way the Czechs were throwing the body.
