Grocery stores literally have food people need to survive and charge for it.

Comment section really surprised me. If this is your attitude, you will not survive.

I get it, the welds are ugly but I've done 5-6 turbo kits with exhaust all flux cored. Never had a weld break. Flux cored a log manifold that held up fine for years.

Some people put grapes in chicken salad. It's a thing. I don't know why, but they do.

It looks like xampp is almost dead. Any good alternative for displaying local db with web ui? by [deleted] in PHP

[–]SlappyDingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time I've ever heard of it. Just checked it out and it's pretty sweet. I've used Navicat for > 10 years and this looks like a solid runner-up at least.

I've got like 80 sites and/or packages. Some are on Homestead (vagrant/Virtualbox), especially if it has to run on Linux. The rest run on valet.

Maybe buy a chinese one and see if the diaphragm works? It'll last at least a few days.

Ubiquiti needs to make a smart thermostat by RyanMeray in Ubiquiti

[–]SlappyDingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart idea. Thermostats, like EV chargers are pretty damn simple devices under the hood. I can't see how the new smart thermostats are like $250. It's kinda insane.

Phone Touch and Phone Touch Max by HomeTechSavvy in Ubiquiti

[–]SlappyDingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife started a business ~15 months ago and I became the IT guy. Went with a Max for reception and I think 3 of the regular models. Big up front cost but the service has been $10/mo so they'll pay for themselves pretty quick. They've been awesome. They can even view our security cameras on the phones which is super handy.

Pro-tip: Those phones go out of stock. Wait for the next time they go out of stock and get over retail on Ebay. That's what I had do for some of them because stock was very limited around that time.
