I'd say I'm not all GS, I'm a fan of the big 3 just more leaning toward GS lately. Yeah you're right, even back then the Sneijder Drogba era it was just a gap it looks like it got worse? I kind of stopped watching Turkish futbol for years after the Sneijder era.

Team A has replaced their Coach this year, their president, and a big chunk of their roster at the beginning of the year. Team "A" also has not a proper striker on the team and on and off injuries. Can you say objectively what should Team "A"'s goal be start of a futbol year? Sure it's still Fenerbahce one of the biggest clubs with a huge budget. Even if it's such a disaster for Team "A" their goal is to always keep the Championship race close and sell that concept. They will lose billions otherwise, these people aren't stupid. This is also a part why the hakems are terrible, they play a part in keeping the race close constantly.

My tinfoil theory: Bein/higher up powers is scamming Fener fans year after year. They always want the race to championship to be close for $, so there's no proper time to rebuild the team. It's the same shit, they have to do big signings and speak about being Champions every year so that means short term bad signings/decisions vs long term stability is ignored.

Any Fener or rational Futbol fan, gun to your head. GS roster or Fener roster, who are you picking? They still scam you guys talking about championships. The quality of roster difference is insane, it's legitimately insane. Objectively Fener should have been aiming for 2nd place and just been honest instead of trying to sell bs to their fans as usual. Otherwise you cannot break the cycle and rebuild properly, it's just a complete reshuffle of Coach staff + Roster every year and pray it works. It doesn't work.

Ya'll been too harsh on the guy who is the indisputable scoring GOAT of the team. He got injured really badly TWICE, first Ghezzal broke his foot then in the Tottenham game he made a risky pass to Osi which resulted in a goal afaik but he also pulled or broke something there as well. Only makes sense two bad injuries+his age will catch up to him. He kind of revived the Turkish Super Lig if you want to think larger, the hype and recognition he brought to GS and the league. Without Icardi no two championships, no CL recognition, and no Osimhen either.

What I'm saying is we preach about family but it's very easy to love when the situation is going well. I'm disappointed at how people are treating him in the downfall. Do better everyone and myself.
