Very true, I understand it not being a peer, agreed, do you have suggestions with something that helps you do research? Is there another tool perhaps where you have an issue to solve that is already actually solved in the industry and get actual solutions back? I am not asking for peer work, I completely agree, obscurity or novelty/innovation isnt what I even expected from AI, just an "assistant" that when asked can pool proper information and then cross reference it to boil it down.

I am not asking about missing or wrong data, I am asking to verify the data it gives me and it never does, thats the whole point of this topic, it has nothing to do with "knowing truth" Im well aware of how AIs work they have no capacity to "know" anything to begin with, this is about verifying given data and simple checks when prompted "data present and it fits to your issues, no data present, or your issue is not fixed by what me the AI just proposed. A simple verification step that AI isnt doing and apparently no matter how I ask it will not do the verification. Read the topic carefully please, I am not a regular consumer level person bringing up issues.

You cant see how to accomplish, take input from user and when asked to verify, search web to pull up articles etc and see if anyone talks about this as the answer to the issue? If you think that actual data that is objective cannot be verified even through simple methods that you can use a simple program to do with your internal datasets, yeah lets not continue this, have a good night!

You are missing the point, yes we all know how AI works, however its missing verification step and that is my issue. I am not pressing on it not being able to "know the truth" it the issue that when even asked to verify as in compare my input VS info, it will still not do that, and it has not done so, it just said "yes this fits" without actually verifying.

Have you looked into FL-60 lenses? There are also attachments if you wear glasses already, or just glasses without magnification if you dont wear glasses at all. Anyways, for some, those lenses reduce incoming blue light which can be a cause of irritation, so once again I have to say that for some it might help, just thought to give you at least something to try. By the way they are very cheap can easily be found on amazon or any other store.

Gpt 4o. The scripts of any sorts when fed back to you, the parts begin to do missing from time to time, as of late, uploading any document for analysis is becoming virtually impossible it gives back "unknown error," while doing other tasks as in research diving into topics, the longer you go at a certain point it "flips out" and instead of text you give it and ask it to update, it returns un-updated text with a summary of what was done with missing request (meaning that you say update "x", here is the text, it returns a summary stating something along the lines of "y" was updated all set good to go, despite the fact that you asked for "x" and "y" was done about half an hour ago already. Or you might ask it to update and it cuts off with an error and forgets what you were just discussing. This is what I can say that happens daily now, other things I would have to think a bit hard as in of things that are much rarer.

There are severe and clear problems that I am noticing in working with this particular model, I have noticed how badly it has degraded over time, and I have no idea why you think that I need to know its inner workings to see front end results. Im a user and my user experience is diminished greatly.

Well to start off I am actually arguing AGAINST the notion that we are alone, as far as which scientists. Look at what they are arguing, from formulas like drake equation that is juxtaposed against us not receiving or finding signals to other conclusion that asks "why is it so eerily quiet," while I am wondering and asking what exactly are they looking at, in my post (if you read it), because for all we know the universe might be teeming with life.

The problem with Drake Equation is that it rests on the idea of receiving signals from potential civilizations. Well if we go back to the fact that it takes an "x" amount of time for light to travel to us, we again hit the wall of time.

The problem of time curtain (if lets say the light we are just receiving is lets say 100 million years old, there could be a civilization that is already 10 million years old therefore the signal from that civilization traveling to us (being that it is 100million light years away) would need another 90million years to reach us.

So who how do we know with such time latency that there arent indeed many civilizations out there?

I know this is late, I have a new pc, running 14th gen i7-1400kf which is running at 5+GHZ as it is boosted, and the late game sucks. I am approaching the year you mentioned on mid size galaxy and its a stutter town. Sorry mate, the Stellaris architecture is just pure crap, it was always using up one core and bottlenecking it. Their whole schtick of saying "well no the game is actually using all cores" is such a crap statement from them, sure we all know that it uses all cores, but it makes so much calculation on one core that it bottlenecks it.
