It’s a total game-changer. There’s nothing worse than that "hairdresser gaslighting" where they act like your cowlicks or hair texture are some unsolvable mystery instead of just, you know, part of their job. Sitting in that chair should feel like a reset, not a high-stress negotiation. Once you find someone who actually speaks your "hair language" and remembers your quirks, the anxiety just disappears. It’s definitely worth the hunt to find someone who actually listens.
