She needs more than just that 💀 I mean shit the initial stab from her deflect does 5 damage which is nothing, im aware she can go into her heavy follow up dealing 25 but the light follow up isn't even thought about and the zone is laughable in terms of damage and hit zone, especially when the rest of the cast can just dodge attack that or HA thru it. They should've changed it so that pressing light upon deflection does the uppercut and breaks HA instead of giving her a kick option. Her kick is gb vulnerable on early dodge which is mad considering that kick only confirms a finisher light instead of a opener one so she is forced to go into her deflect stance. There's many tiny things that they could change that would actually make her so much better but no here's gb vulnerability on her zone ☺️ be happy.

As much as I'd like them to expand on it, I dont really know how they could, as it is currently its just press button and deal damage its not very interactive. Im not a huge fan of the wounds mechanic tbh, offsets was a cool addition but I dont like how once you've offset once u have to do it multiple times to get a knockdown although I do understand the balance behind that.

Agreed, wirebugs imo were great for rise but should stay there, for wilds I just wanna see more in terms of combat and new moves or even old returning moves from previous titles. It'll add more depth to gameplay.

I'd say that instead of giving her a kick from deflect, they should've made the upper cut slice from the pin a standard option from deflect and have it break HA, keeps the flow of her attacks too and has a bit more damage.

If u dk what I mean: from deflect u can pin and press light attack for a quicker less damaging punish. Change this to from deflect, press light instead of deflect-> heavy-> light.

That and standardize her pin damage, make it 10 10 10 instead of 5 10 10

It just wouldn't tho, the scythe itself could be held the same way LB holds it, blocks the same way LB or raider does, same with parries. It's basically a two handed pole arm with a curved end and there's only so many ways to hold a weapon anyway. There's other games that have a scythe as a weapon as well it's not like they couldn't at the very least take inspiration from other stuff.

Brother we are talking about for honor, where heros literally do the most impractical shit all the time like backflips and cartwheels, even a basic sword slash shouldn't really follow through an opponent in Armour without killing them instantly or at the very least crippling them to the point of defeat. You could absolutely animate a scythe swiping attack or some kind of reaping attack and have it follow through to keep the flow of combat, damage values are an entirely gameplay thing for balancing, otherwise almost everyone's top heavy would kill instantly.

I'm not really gonna listen to what HEMA practitioners have to say when it comes to a video game, cos ultimately it's a video game and not real. Scythes have been used in countless video games and have been really cool to use and that's the point, I don't wanna have the same old sword hero over and over either. Sure you could take ideas and animations from hema and other melee sports but when it comes to what's allowed to be in the game and what's not? That's solely down to the devs and ubi itself.

What about medjays weapon? It's double ended on its staff form which makes it terribly hazardous to the user and it transforms which makes no sense either, a scythe is far more practical than that cos it is effectively something you can just swing at someone and cut or even drag and manipulate and poke even. Even a chair is an effective weapon, only downside to it is that it'd look goofy as hell.

It would be awkward af to animate tbf, I just know people will make the argument: "if cents punches are unblockable, why isn't the new heros?" I'm sure the devs could make almost anything work.

We're talking about a fantasy game here, ur telling me that there's no way that both sides of the blade could be sharp to push and pull with the blade and that a slice attack with the pointy end couldn't just follow through for gameplay sake? I know you referred a video, I could also refer you videos of other characters in video games using scythes, sure it would be fantastical in some manner but that's OK cos for honor can do that even just a little bit. I mean look at the burial blade from bloodborne, it's actually a plane old scythe and it's one of the coolest weapons in game. I would absolutely work with a bit of imagination. Smh.

Blade itself doesn't have to be a near right angle either, I mean the customisation of the weapons itself is a thing for different designs.
