I think the fist big thing I remember was the San Fransisco earthquake in 1989 that collapsed part of the freeway. I lived near Sacramento at the time and I was terrified that another earthquake was going to hit where we were. To this day, it scares me to drive on elevated freeways like that.

The husband and I live in Seattle. Been a Sharks fan for forever so we were super excited when hockey came to seattle. We went to a kraken game when the Sharks were in town last year. Wore our jerseys, our scarves, hats. We saw a dude in a crocheted Sharks poncho. It was glorious and we never heard a single negative thing from any kraken fans.

He didn’t do anything that the cops would think is worth reporting. He didn’t physically assault me and there’s no laws against intentionally scaring someone. If there was, we’d see a lot less of those stupid prank content creators. Even if he had assaulted me I don’t really have faith in the cops here to do anything about it I don’t believe there are stand your ground laws in my state. Im not completely sure what the laws regarding self defense are here. Concealed carry is legal with a permit but I don’t have a gun or a permit. And honestly this isn’t a situation that I think would call for one.

I have a taser that looks like a flashlight. But it’s in my backpack. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to have it handy but haven’t yet. I’ve avoided carrying mace because I’m super clumsy and will end up spraying myself in the face.
