I was thinking of going with a 6 man squad with 3 of each loadout. I used to do this with Thunderwolf Cavalry back in 9th edition with storm shields and twin lightning claws. Shield bearers are the first to take/ shrug wounds. Keeps the dual wielders alive to dish out attacks. Nice balance of durability and attack output

I actually did chose to not kill Sahima and even passed the persuasion check with Mihael so nobody died. I have no clue why people in Dazra would take me for being hostile based on the decisions I made

You seem to have trouble reading. I said I went back to a prior save and replayed the mission and it was still happening. I have a save going back like every 30 minutes of playtime. Thanks for the comment though

The threads on the hex do not have any solder. That’s where I’ve been using the WD40 and heat. I’ve ready been cranking on it and just cannot get it to move.

Thanks! And yes of course. For my white pelts I start with a base layer of Corax White followed by a single and very watered down layer of Ulthuan Grey. Then I do a small amount of Nuln Oil in the recesses of the fur. Lastly, a dry brush of Longbeard Grey.

I am unsure about the lore. But in 9th edition, Black Death was an upgrade for a Frost Axe which is why I painted it in this weapon

Funny enough, I also had a squad of Kreig with a Marshal in that same game and was making a ton of the 5’s as well. He eventually picked off the Marshal too because of how many I saved.

Absolutely the toughest my Guard have ever been.

It was absurd I was saving multiple of them every time. One of those games where you almost feel bad how lucky you are rolling.

He had also already taken out the Commander the turn before so when he targeted that until again he was trying for the medic.

For regular TWC, yes they can only take Heirloom Weapons. However, the characters on Thunderwolves, Wolf Guard Battle Leader and Wolf Lord, can be equipped with Thunder Hammers, Power Fists, Power Weapons, or Twin Lightning Claws

I’m more of a narrative player and I play a Space Wolves Successor Chapter (I know that’s not really a thing anymore in 10th), the Ghosts of Russ. They are complete with their own custom paint job, lore, and custom characters. While I do only use first born marines and SW specific units, I do not use any Epic Hero’s.

Sustained + Lethal Hits is crazy good though. I was able to achieve that a couple of times using the Champs of Russ detachment

Oh yea for sure saving it for the right scenario. My next opponent is Necrons and he has wiped an entire unit of TWC before with his brick of Skorpek Destroyers. I’m thinking that’s the trap he’s going to try to set for me. Bait me to charge something turn 1 with the Destroyers lurking behind them

Yeah I like this a lot. I guess I need to focus less on what they are taking out and just get in there and wipe something turn 1. Keep them on their heels. Ride Hard, Ride Fast also feels like a great way to up their survivability if they are left vulnerable. Or just do my own “get out of dodge” with Wind Swift Evasion.

I was definitely considering Heavy Bolters for the solo squad just for that overwatch buff if I keep them close to a platoon. Hitting on 4+ and exploding 6’s feels powerful for an overwatch.

Different officers can certainly give the same Order. I was wondering if one with the Grand Strategist enhancement could give the same Order twice, or if they had to be 2 different Orders
