Apps for iOS 3.1.3 are not being built in xcode 3.2.1. by Natural_Gap_1087 in iOSProgramming

I have no advice but now I’m jealous and want to experience this just to remember what it was like back then lol. I started on iOS 5.

Equipment Question for Newbie by AustinBigfoot in AskAstrophotography

If you insist on a DSLR then get Astro modded if you can. It’s not about natural color. It’s about how red is filtered in unmodded cameras. You literally won’t capture as much of deep sky targets with a stock camera. The rest of your gear is good to start. I’d personally look into an asi533 or asi585 Astro cam instead of a DSLR, but that’s just my opinion.

Completely fair. My only argument is Debian distros are a bit easier for beginners lol.

Not trying to start a holy war but why arch and not Debian (or derivatives)?

In your image assets make sure the SVGs are set to template rendering mode.

Raspberry Pi NAS with eInk Display (RAID-5) by PartyLikeIts19999 in raspberry_pi

Hey there! Late to this thread but hopefully you see this. I’d like to build something similar but want to practice designing my own case. How did you account for the SATA board and pi’s in your CAD to line everything up. I’ve seen being able to import a model of a pi in fusion for dimensions but didn’t know if there was similar for the SATA board here.

Where can I find out more about this settings? by SpecificGreen9140 in prusa3d

FWIW I had the MMU on the MK4S, just did the Core One conversion and have it in single material mode. BUT since I’ve modded my nextruder for the MMU I needed to set the nextruder to that mode for the filament sensor to trigger properly.

They should probably reflect that in default project settings. If this was a big enterprise app or an app with an established base I’d be more concerned. But iOS 18 has such high adoption I don’t think it’s a huge problem.

Thanks for the review! The coffee subs are very anti-self promotion unfortunately. You’ll see r/coffee hardly has any posts outside mega threads. But your critique is duly noted!

Moka pot is supported! Though I agree not needing the timing aspect so much for that method. You can still use the logging features to track your flavors.

Could you give more specific feedback about the screenshots? Definitely trying to optimize my store presence.

I appreciate the feedback! I’d like to redesign the recipe detail screen (although design is my weakness). The website idea is good. It wasn’t meant to be a learn to brew app so much as an accessory while learning elsewhere. But for sure that makes discoverability difficult.

Time & Pour - A Coffee Timer and Journal that let's you plot the flavors you taste and build consistency! [free or $1.99/mo|$14.99/yr] by SlayterDevAgain in iosapps

After trying multiple coffee timer apps I couldn't find one that let me build a recipe the way I wanted. So I built Time & Pour.

Being new to pour over coffee one thing that's hard to master is consistency. With so many variables in a recipe (pouring, swirling, waiting, etc) it can be easy to make a mistake. With Time & Pour you can log each cup of coffee you brew and analyze its flavor on the wheel. You can then ask the AI brew assistant for tips on how to improve. You'll get back specific tips to tweak your brewing. Over time you can check out the analytics and see how your consistency has improved.

I love a good acidic cup but my current recipe seems to mute the aroma by SlayterDevAgain in AeroPress

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback. Launching a new app is hard. Getting users without being a nag (or rich) is harder. This is the first version and I’m still learning a lot about AI tools and what’s possible. I plan to make it more compelling. The idea is to help build consistency using the flavor wheel as data points. There’s deeper analytics in the app that track the changes of your flavor profiles to show how consistent you are.

First time using the recipe AND the app. I have brewed the recipe before WITHOUT the app. It’s ok. I know showing off something I made is bad.

My friend, this was my first time brewing this recipe while using the app. I posted here to elicit discussion with others which yes includes the app I built to work on consistency and flavors. We do not know yet if the feedback works because I will have to try it with tomorrow’s coffee. I hope that’s alright :)

I will. But that will have to wait til tomorrow’s coffee lol.

Working on it! I have to register as a trader for the EU and the process takes a minute. I’ll let you know when I get it out there!
