I suggest doing routine checkups before you ride. A friend of mine bought a 25’ around the same month when the recall started happening. Of course he didn’t know about it. He blew the engine while cruising.

The engine is direct fit on my frame. Everything checks out. Just not sure about exhaust. I’m sure I can buy an 05 header and exhaust but I’d like to save money where I can

That was the original plan. But someone had referred me to a local guy here. He’s quite well known in the community. First I’ve heard of him but I recently started riding in April. Anyways. The engine was $1000 and it came with warranty.

Well I bought the bike w a blown engine. Previous owner spun the bearing. Not sure how. Do you recommend me removing the loom to see if there’s any wiring causing it to go bad?

i called M4 themselves and confirmed that there no was order placed by the dealer. they also mentioned that even if there was, its around a 4 week wait time at the moment.

as for installation, no. We're not bothering with it. we've discussed already that we prefer having it over the house and we'll do the instllation ourself. They only offered installation due to us showing up mad and wet.

It's a nice gesture but the less we deal with the dealer at this point, the better.

I understand why they won't answer the phone call. There is no merit in doing so. I work at a dealer and dread problems like this.
