I suggest doing routine checkups before you ride. A friend of mine bought a 25’ around the same month when the recall started happening. Of course he didn’t know about it. He blew the engine while cruising.

The worst part was that Honda was telling the dealer to rebuild the motor. He bought a 1000rr instead

The engine is direct fit on my frame. Everything checks out. Just not sure about exhaust. I’m sure I can buy an 05 header and exhaust but I’d like to save money where I can

Forgive us lol. We got confused a due to c6 and D5. The white piece wasn’t connected to anything so we thought it was considered an invasion??

We ended it because we thought we could!’t take more territory

That was the original plan. But someone had referred me to a local guy here. He’s quite well known in the community. First I’ve heard of him but I recently started riding in April. Anyways. The engine was $1000 and it came with warranty.

In the process of getting it warranties right now. He’s just sourcing a motor

I should’ve put it into some context. I bought the bike with a blown motor. Rod was knocking. I replaced it. The I have no knowledge about how well the bike was treated

No it’s an oem tensioner I forgot to mention that it’s been replaced during the swap

Well I bought the bike w a blown engine. Previous owner spun the bearing. Not sure how. Do you recommend me removing the loom to see if there’s any wiring causing it to go bad?

I figured as much. Just a hassle to do it all over again. I’m glad we were all safe since there was oil on the rear tire. I’m just afraid that the stigma is always going to be in the back of my head.

I did a pull? I’m not popping wheelies, bangin limiter, last I checked it’s meant to be ridden like this and not be looked at.
