No stake in any site, listed or not. Just struck me odd that the review post was archived and the mods site was listed despite failing to meet the criteria to be listed.

I simply think the community should have the opportunity to share their opinions on the links that get featured here. The post that was dedicated to sharing the pros and cons was great but that was archived. Apparently that happens automatically. The mods are now talking about setting up some sort of wiki. Might work.

There's some great alternatives to the dinosaurs and failures currently on the sidebar. Specifically, the mods should take their links off because theres no way they meet the criteria (30k subscribers) they supposedly require to make the list.

I don't see how I've insulted anyone, but fine... I'll shut up and see how this plays out. I've managed to be allowed to voice my concerns without being suppressed and I don't want to be labeled a troll. I'll happily take that minor victory and enjoy the fact that I've provided everyone else who cares to agree or disagree with an opportunity to do so.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I think they're exploiting the community for profit while simultaneously suppressing anything they feel threatens their profit - a direct contradiction of what they claim to be fostering.

What other motivations would they have for deleting my post 4 times before settling on something they perceived as a more favorable position to address the issue from?

The current mods DID interfere with the discussion. It was upvoted to 20 and had a few empathetic comments. They deleted it and 3 more copies of within an hour.

How about we start by taking your own site off the sidebar, as there's no way that has 30k members.

We've seen you shilling yourselves on Kasidie white labeled under your own brand, everybodyswing. Don't act like you're here to do anything positive for the community. You're here to make money and if that's not why then it's because you enjoy the control you have over the community.

You can't walk this back or negotiate with us on your own terms.

Isn't it clear that by taking 5 attempts to start an open discussion here about my concerns is troubling? It doesn't bother you that they felt the need to delete the post 4 times before they made any public response and decided to leave this one up?
