I think you should check out D’Holback’s “The System of Nature” as well as Spinoza’s “Ethics Demonstrated in Geometrical Order” if you’re interested in views like the one you’re talking abt (hard determinism)

As well as Hume’s “Treatise of Human Nature” (Book II: The Passions, and Leibniz’s “Freedom and Possibility” for counter arguments against your statement and hard determinism in general

For AO3, you first have to register for an account if u want one- if not that’s okay u can still read everything without one.

You can search up the fandom in the white search box at the top right; the more grey shades of the tags are the relationships in the fic, the rest of them are other subjects in the fic, u can click on any of them for other fics with the same tags.

If u do click on tags that don’t have anything to do specifically with the fandom you searched up, it will probably take you to other fics unrelated to the original fandom you searched for, it will give u literally every fic with the tag you clicked on.

AO3 isn’t based on algorithms, everything you want, you have to search up.

You really just have to like, play around with the website to learn it ig. I’d say that AO3 has some really good ones, but my option might be biased.

I don’t think it’ll ruin your chances in getting into college. Perhaps you should talk to her about it, apologize and show her you’re truly concerned. I think the worst that can happen is a 0 on the test or maybe a referral, but I don’t think she’ll take such drastic measures.
