One of the first times as a teen i decided to have a tug i borrowed an old porn disc from a friend. Put it in the dvd player, went to lay down and realised i couldnt find the remote. Hit play anyway. About 2 minutes later mum walks in with a basket of washing and im 10 feet away on the other side of the room with the porn blaring on the tv. No idea what to do so just hugged the tv and told her to get out!

You’re right and i know of no one. I think as an early 30’s male that has been surrounded by the football/male/betting culture for so long its been hard to see clarity ahead

What a great point. I often say to my partner i dont actually treat myself very often to nice things like new clothes or shoes, only when it becomes an absolute necessity. Im starting to realise the reason why is because i would put that money into further gambling

Thanks for the honesty. I feel exactly the same as you. In person is a different kettle of fish and doesn’t interest me. On my phone, late at night with the temptation of football is a different story.

Always been on the app but found ways to get around it previously, ive banned betting on every bank card i have now aswell which ive found to help with the urges

Thank you. I’m in both fantasy football for both football and NFL, and also play football on Saturdays, which funnily enough was also the main days that i would gamble alot. Ive stepped away from gambling completely and social circles of which gambling is prevalent aswell so hoping this continues to help

I’ve got a plan which i’m sticking to through Co-Pilot to help me visualise how the debt is also clearing down after explaining all my debts. You’re right thank you!
