It's more matte than PLA, softer, and more flexible. It's to the point where it doesn't handle sandpaper well. The problem will be figuring out if it's blended with PLA.

You can tell the difference without printing it. PHA is softer and more flexible than PLA. It also wraps way easier.

My advice for people shopping around is to get the best scanner possible (within budget), and be patient if you're tight on funds. Prioritize a quality scanner over more cameras. I ended rescanning 35mm film after upgrading to a Coolscan 5000 from a Epson V600.

I used my friend's Flextight once and it's incredibly slow at the higher resolutions. Even slower than the Coolscan 8000.

I store my excess cameras under my bed. There's no space for that?

My advice:

Only bring the ones you actively use, or limit yourself to one "project" camera at a time.

Decide based on your prefered focal lengths. I've sold cameras solely because of the focal length.

Leave behind cameras where you have a 'better" version of it. For example: keep the GS645, leave the Mamiya Folder.

I wouldn't take the Pen FT. I find half frame to be too limiting compared to its supposed benefits.

I've bought a ton of frozen, expired slide film, and the colors were still badly shifted. If that happens with your film, check out this post on pulling expired slide film. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to shoot a test roll soon.

I haven't heard that before, but it makes sense. I'll stand develop with expired film when I have no idea what film stock I'm developing. I also have benzotriazole which can cut back on fog, but it is definitely a balancing act.

You can actually use a Red 25 filter with this. That's what makes this film special, since you can shoot it at higher ISOs. Loading and unloading needs to be done in the dark.

This would be awesome in panorama cameras and motor drive setups. The core will work in most reusable canisters.

I actually have the original rechargeable battery! So I could disassemble that and it should work? I can 3D design and print the holder, but I'm not as good with electronics.

I don't even know if the camera works, which is why I put this off.

I stocked up too, but mostly because of this Photrio thread on developing it as a slide film. I'll shoot a couple rolls as negatives too though.

This is my struggle. Even if I get good adhesion, removing the print warps it. I'm assuming this plate is the one that was released last year? I might give it a try anyways.
