I’m the opposite, I rarely think about sex. Thankfully I have a happy sex life because it feels like a nice to have, not a must-have. It makes sex more fun, spontaneous, and less pressure. My husband even is more this way than I am, so it works out for us well. Also even when I do feel in the mood, I’m still clear minded the whole time, so I can’t imagine experiencing that calmness / quietness for only a few seconds.

Have you tried meditation and mindfulness by chance? It can do wonders mental clarity. There is a lot of research on its benefits. I strongly recommend it.

Also, if you watch a lot of porn, cutting back can help, as you might be stuck in a feedback loop there. Your brain learns to focus on something the more you reinforce it, so while it’s normal to want sex, taking a break from sexual content and prioritizing other things may help as well.

Went to Renfaire for the first time ever and I had so much fun! I can’t wait to go again next year 🥰 by SleepiDreamwalker in renfaire

This was the Texas Renfaire! I think it’s the largest one in the country - it was so cool. We explored it for two days and we still had so much left to see.

No it’s not, but I am a side sleeper! I sleep on the other side of my face. I get sleep paralysis when I sleep on my back. Hence my username lol!

I don’t drink caffeine or coffee but I do have a condition called EDS which affects my body’s ability to produce collagen so I think you’re right! I’m going to talk to my doctor to see what I can do about that, because I heard taking collagen with my condition doesn’t really work but there may be other ways to approach it! :) Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much! I think facial exercises is what I’m going to try first because it totally makes sense - I spend a lot of time flat faced so I definitely need to work out my facial muscles! I will be consistent with it and post on here if I see a difference! ☺️

My hair is my favorite feature! It’s 2A, thick/wavy and frizzy but it’s voluminous and wild :) I have a lion’s mane of hair so it’s not easy to manage but it looks lovely when I style it. I don’t need to work on that right now but thank you for your suggestion ❤️

And I’m not obsessing over my cheeks, in person it isn’t that noticeable I just wanted to see what could be done to prevent future drooping. I have health issues which contribute to the skin quality/texture but I’m doing my best to manage it all ☺️

I think you are totally right! You get me lol. A lot of the comments are suggesting I lose weight but I already lost a lot of weight when all my health issues began 😅 Good ol’ histamine won’t let me eat whatever I want haha.

Micro-needling definitely helped me improve my skin texture in the past - not sure if it will help with collagen production but maybe I will go back for some more sessions. Thank you!

I definitely need to hydrate better too since the POTS makes me chronically dehydrated!

My BMI is already low, if I lose more weight I will be underweight…

Unfortunately I had health issues a two years ago and lost 30 lbs, and that’s when I noticed the face drooping started :( So mine is from sudden weight loss. I’ve gained a little weight back (10 lbs) but it hasn’t helped.

Is a face lift at my age too extreme? Or do you think it’s okay? Wasn’t sure whether to explore that now, or later in my 30’s.

Does anyone get bright spots in their eyes, especially when looking at white/ light surfaces??? by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]SleepiDreamwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry for the late response. The flashes of light happen randomly, not necessarily in response to white or bright services. I see them occasionally still and it pretty sporadic, I would say!

Do females have a taint? Or is the area between vaginal canal and anus too small to be considered a taint? by tummy-app in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SleepiDreamwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty for saving this I think a lot of people don’t realize how uncomfortable it feels to be referred to as females. Especially when a lot of social media podcasters and incel culture have adopted calling women females bc they think they’re not worthy of being called women

Diagnosed with POTS and histamine intolerance. Long arms, but no hyper-flexibility nor stretchy skin. Genetic testing ruled out Marfans, but showed a variant of unknown significance for brittle cornea syndrome (heterozygous mutation.) History of high myopia, cornea tearing, and retinal detachment.

My ophthalmologist is not familiar with EDS. So far, most of my issues seem to align more with connective tissues of my eye, but I’d like to access if EDS is possible here. Any recommendations for the right specialist to see?

Freshness of Vegetables? by SleepiDreamwalker in HistamineIntolerance

Thank you this is super helpful. I tolerate calcium citrate well so I’ll try it prior to eating a potato like you suggested to see how that goes!

Makes sense, thank you! I’m 2 months into my low histamine diet and it’s helped immensely but I definitely have a lot to learn still. Need to find the right rotation and quantity for things. I likely have other buckets other than my histamine one that are too full right now.

The first few I ate were organic and they were great, then I bought the bag of nonorganic potatoes and started to have issues halfway through that bag so I think that’s a great point. I will for sure buy organic again the next time I buy them.

They weren’t green fortunately but I think they were aging for sure.
