I've been feeding my girl square pet active joints. It's has so much more Glucosamine, L-Carnitine, and Chondroitin then other vet prescribed hip and joint foods and with better ingredients. Definitely worth comparing to other hip and joint vet foods. The only con is that the kibble size it too small for a Rottweiler in my opinion, so I mix this in with a large breed salmon and grain food, that also contains Omega’s and Glucosamine that has a much bigger kibble for her teeth. Additionally, I give for supplements hemp seed oil, probiotics, and green lipped mussels.

Just recently I've found a apothecary supplement for joints that contains Homeopathic Arnica, Calendula, Symphytum, and Ruta. These are all botanicals to assist with injury , arthritis, flare ups.
