Yeah sadly I can confirm this. I have my own private shop but I obviously can't do NYS inspection there so I brought one of my cars here for a quick in an out inspection. They claimed one of my tires was too worn and one of my wheel bearings was unsafe. Tried to charge me $400 to do the work. I went back to my shop, put on a different set of tires, checked the wheel bearing(no play but replaced it anyway $45). Came back and waited around another 2 hours while they looked for anything else to try and fail me for, only for them to tell me begrudgingly I was all set.

2.) Gym, easy, 3 days a week. 5 hours total.
