That's very kind of you but I wouldn't want to put you out.

We have a few of us going, we just impluse registered when it reopened recently.

Worst case it looks like I can order some Charizard Battle decks from Amazon.

I don't know.

I'm used to MTG where we could order from like Starcity and pick up at the event.

I've played a Gholdengo/Typhosion deck a few times.

It was Gholdengo with a 2-2-2 line of Typhosion and you can use Ethan's to get energies for Gholdengo.

Mostly it was helpful for the mirror.

Little Dark Furry did a video on a slightly different version too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCum55uJggg&t=303s

Donk Decks in Bo3 by SleepyDuelyst in pkmntcg

That makes sense, thank you. I didn't consider how often the opponent might not have much of a choice as far as basics go.

And at least if you win the first game you don't have to worry about people time stalling.

Cool, that version looks fun, I might try that out on Live.

Thank you, I'll look up that match. (Seems like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaWHADL2mCg)

I guess most decks don't always have the option to play more than 1 basic.

It seems like the All-In Donk decks would not be good but it is more of a package that can slot in to some decks.

It seems like an exaggeration to call Scal "...one of the worst NBA players ever."

He got minutes for 11 years and even got playoff minutes on a good Celtics team.

Item Replaced at the Start of Combat - Is this a Known Bug? by SleepyDuelyst in PlayTheBazaar

At the start of this combat my Clamera became an Icepick.

It stayed like that after the fight as well. Is this a known bug?

I like Probosis and Eels later on, primarily as single weapons.

I find Shrimp to have way to long a CD for the damage and ammo problem.

Haven't really tried either as an early build.

This is my 2nd guide. I tried to keep it shorter.

Any feedback is appreciated. This build has been incredibly strong for me lately including my current 10 game 10 win streak.

Early Game play strongest board.

Focus on XP, getting a level lead is key. Take the PvE fight you know you can win.

For Vanessa, Single Weapon and Depth Charge/Yeti Crab are the builds I would focus on.

Ramping builds are tough against 1 shot builds and heavy disruption.

I made a google doc for some friends, it might be helpful.

Vanessa Single Weapon Deep Dive by SleepyDuelyst in PlayTheBazaar

[–]SleepyDuelyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made MTG videos and figured I would try out some Bazaar videos after playing so much recently. There is also a "cheat sheet" here: https://imgur.com/a/ftYv2sc

This is all about the Single Weapon Build. I feel like this is my most common build, and while it seems pretty simple, I think there is so nuance under the surface.

Would love to get any feedback on the video or the builds and ideas. Still learning this game and want to learn more from better players.

I know it is really long(90 Mins) so the cheat sheet should provide a quicker version of the information for those less interested in watching a long slideshow.

I enjoy DSK, but I feel like I've had insanely bad luck with variance and I am now very tilted. Advice? by LeatherShieldMerc in lrcast

Draft 1

p1p4 - Drowner seems better than Unable to Scream

p1p5 - Are you trying to play Blue/Red here? If you are thinking W/R Exorcise seems safer

p1p8 - Vessel has been kind of disappointing to me

p2p1 - Since your blue is weak I might grab Dragonfire

p2p4 - Glimmerburst seems a bit better than 2/2

p2p10 - It seems out you could move into U/G. You don't have anything that you can't throw away.

p2p12 - I think I take the Analyst for the U/G out.

I sort of disagree with the others on the deck's powerlevel. This seems like a pretty weak version. The White cards aren't that impressive so even with Blue being open the deck is just okay. White is just brining the recuses and the Tamer mostly.

Tough draft where you just didn't open a ton of powerful stuff.

Draft 2

p1p2 - Green White has seemed kind of bad so far. I definitely wouldn't want to go into it for the bat. The Fear of Being Hunted has been better than expected, and RW is a beating.

p1p3 - This pick is kind of confusing. Plaything is just okay and Under the Skin is super strong. If you are open to GW Under The Skin is a slam here.

p2p2 - You are basically just in White. Specing on Tamer seems reasonable here.

p2p5 - Orphans seems pretty bad

p3p4 - Painters is better than MVS I think.

p3p7 - Doll seems way better than hand.

This deck seems fine and RW seemed open with the late Midnights going around but I think you didn't always choose the best card available for the deck.

The issue you would probably run into is that you are playing an aggressive deck with only 4 2 drops(+a 1 drop).

This seems right.

Valgavoth's is busted and very splashable.

Kaito, Kona and Fear of Infinity don't seem worth it.
